Are measures being taken against the novel coronavirus?

A

Alcohol sprays and other products for hand sanitizer are available.
We have placed a notice in the common area about social distance.
For hygiene reasons, we do not lend out kitchen knives, knives, or cutting boards, so please bring or buy your own.

What can I rent for free?

A

Campers staying on the empty-handed camping plan can rent camping accessories and cooking utensils free of charge (a limited number of items are available, so please ask our staff for assistance).

What can I buy locally?

A

We sell the essentials for camping, such as charcoal, firewood, igniters, bug spray, and other camping essentials at the Center House. Don’t worry if you forget to bring something!

Are there any stores nearby?

A

There is a gas station 3 minutes away and a 24 hour convenience store 5 minutes away. For more information, please visit the Location section of our menu.

Are the rooms private?

A

Yes, we have private rooms. The container house and bell tents are all private rooms. The rooms are located at a comfortable distance from the neighbouring rooms.

Is it accessible by regular car?

A

The roads are well maintained and can be accessed by ordinary cars.
Since it is a roadside station, there are road signs. We are located at the back of the roadside station, which is easy to find, as announced in our email.

Will I get no cell service?

A

Most cell phones won’t get out of range, but access may be difficult due to weather and other factors. Free Wi-Fi is also available in the Center House, so don’t worry.

Can I bring my pet with me?

A

No pets other than service dogs and other pets are allowed.

What are the check-in and check-out times?

A

For empty-handed camping plans, check-in is after 2:30 pm and check-out is until 10:00 am.

Q

Can I use it as a day trip?

A

For the empty-handed camping plan, this is an overnight plan. Camping food options are available for overnight campers only. For day campers, a BBQ plan is available at Makari Flower Park Roadside Station.

Do I need to make a reservation?

A

All empty-handed camping trips, camp food options and activities are fully reserved.
